Adam has been in the fitness and health industry for over 15 years now and has been the Founder and President of The Fitness Lab since it’s beginning on May 7, 2016. He started off when he was 17 years old helping out around a local gym and soon recognized his passion to work in the field. He attended St. Lawrence College in Kingston and received his Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma, his CSEP-CPT (Canadian Society of Exercise and Physiology- Certified Personal Trainer), as well as his FRC (Functional Range Conditioning certification). Over the last decade, he has worked alongside numerous clients, professional athletes, and celebrities around the city to help them achieve their goals. He specializes in athletic training and has worked with athletes in a variety of different sports and leagues such as the CFL, OHL, NCAA, ECHL, AHL, and NHL. Adam is a lululemon legacy ambassador, a leader in the sweat community, and plans to continue to grow the LAB brand as big as he can.

For Ryan, a love of sports at a young age sparked an interest in exercise. This lead him into a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Ontario Institute for Technology (UOIT) in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Science. His interest was piqued studying Human Neuromechanics, taking him into a Master's of Health Sciences where he researched the differences between our dominant and non-dominant arms. After registering with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario, Ryan began working in both the rehab and personal training worlds, and over the last 6+ years Ryan has watched clients achieve their goals and crush the rehabilitation process. As a Registered Kinesiologist, Ryan utilizes movement analysis and the most up to date exercise protocols to ensure the best results, and truly loves what he does.

Jana’s love of all things sports, athletics, and fitness related began when she was a kid. She participated in competitive sports most of her life...the big ones being gymnastics, fastball, downhill ski racing and horseback riding. Her passions took her to The University of Waterloo where she completed her Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Recreation and Leisure studies.
Jana’s desire to really reach out to help people transform their lives motivated her to change careers and she became certified as a Personal Trainer in 2005, and has been Personal Training for 18years. Ally’s passion for sport and fitness came at a young age when she started competitive swimming alongside weight training. After high school, she attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario earning a Bachelor’s of Physical and Health Education Studies and a Certificate in Business while competing for the Queen’s swimming
team for 5 years. Following her passion for sport performance, she completed two strength and conditioning internships; uOttawa high performance in Ottawa, Ontario, and Cressey Sports Performance in Boston, MA specializing in baseball.
Although Ally has worked with youth, collegiate, and professional athletes, she also finds passion in educating many others to discover their inner athlete! Ally is a NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). -

From a young age Lane was involved in dance and other sports. Her passion for staying active has only grown over the years, and she enjoys working out at the LAB on her days off. When she's not at the gym, Lane is studying her way through her fourth year of Media Studies and Communication at Carleton.

Starting as an intern, Ben spent time learning from the TFL's expert trainers and awesome clients before becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. His teamwork skills developed through his involvement in hockey, lacrosse, and rugby, aiding in his ability to keep people motivated with his upbeat personality. A bumping Saturday morning Met/Con is where Ben thrives.
Ben graduated from Wilfrid Laurier with a degree in Political Science with specializations in research and legal studies, and is currently pursuing education in food and nutrition. When not teaching classes, you can find Ben watching movies, learning new recipes, or running his small barbecue and outdoor kitchen maintenance company.

Dustin has progressed into a career of fitness based on his childhood of competitive football and hockey. ("Dom") was a high performance gymnast and had dedicated her life to competitive sports. Following a gymnastics career-ending injury, she re-focused her energy and passion towards rehab and getting herself back on her feet and training again. Dom has spent the last 15 years giving back to the athletic community by coaching athletes of all ages, ranging from post-operative care to working with Olympians. She graduated from York University with a BSc. (Hons) in Kinesiology and is now completing her 5th and final year in Osteopathic studies. Laura-Marie has been in the fitness industry for over seven years, starting off with her fitness journey at a young age playing competitive hockey, soccer, and eventually university hockey. Foster has always been involved with sports since a young age. Growing up, he played several sports including hockey, basketball and football. Above all, it was football that captivated his love for sports and growth within the gym. After 10 years of playing competitive football across the province, injuries eventually led to an early end to Foster’s sports career. Since then he's been intent on sharing the importance of maintaining health and safety while helping others succeed toward their respective athletic goals. He is currently enrolled at Carleton University, majoring in History, with plans to earn an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. Since completing his six-month internship, Foster has now become a personal trainer who plans on building his reputation and expanding his knowledge in the field of fitness. As he is currently in the process of becoming a certified NSCA-CPT Personal Trainer, he hopes to soon assist others directly with their fitness journeys at The Fitness Lab.

Arianne’s participation in a variety of sports at a young age, sparked an interest in exercise. Her years of training as a competitive trampoline gymnast lead her to current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Ottawa. Following her undergrad, Arianne is interested in pursuing a Master’s in Physiotherapy. Her years of personal experience with weight training inspired her to want to get into the field of personal training as well. She is currently taking an Onsite Fitness Personal Training Certification and has recently completed the Titan/uOttawa Gee-Gees Performance Strength and Conditioning internship where she worked with uOttawa’s Hockey teams.
